August Photo Hunt Challenges

I love finding things through other people's blogs.  Claire's Creations and photography was next to me in the Trendy Treehouse link up last Friday and so I checked out here blog.  She had a thing for a scavenger hunt so I clicked on it to check it out.  This was on Friday and the hunt was for the month of August.  Instead of WAITING until the month was over ( seeing as how there was only like 5 days left in the month! ) I decide to sign up and give it my best effort.  SOOOOOO  Here is my first attempt and getting 20 photos in 5 days.  About 6 or 7 of them are photos I already had taken this month that happen to fit under the category.  I realize most of these aren't fantastic pictures, but next month hopefully, I can get better ones.  Here it goes



1. A flag that represents you (your town, state, country, team, etc.)

I don't always feel like a Texan so I choose the American flag!

2. Something comfortable

What is more comfortable then PJ's, Mommy's bed and satin sheets!?

3. Something in season

These jelly fish MUST have been in season because they were EVERY where! My poor son got stung by one.

My husband travels for work and sometimes that means other countries. He picked these up from Kuwait

A boy in mommy's high heel shoes....

8. An indulgence

I am on the South Beach diet..I don't always follow it BUT I do know that REAL soda is a no no because of the sugar. Well, I like to indulge at least once a week and get one of these bad boys! I LOVE DR. PEPPER

9. A macro or closeup

I love her eyes

10. Something masculine

Now, I realize SOME women have these, but HOPEFULLY a mustache is a masculine thing. haha

11. Something feminine

A tutu, because even boy ballerina's don't wear them!

This was hanging up at the my son's dance studio and I thought it looked so cool lit up with the pink

13. Eco-friendly

We try and use organic at my house when we can afford it. I love these I got at our local grocery store. They smell great and are eco-friendly in so many ways!

My grass is SO dry right now!

18. butterflies

This was actually taken last month but it was a good butterfly shot. This was taken in my front yard. My grass was over grown and therefore was calling all the butterflies in the TEXAS to my yard!

19. heart shaped clouds

This was the closest I got to heart shaped clouds. It is side ways, but it is there.
